Chief Technology Officer
Chief Technology Officer role for a Series C fintech in London, scaling engineering from 60 to 200 and building the platform for the next stage of growth.
Our client is a Series C fintech building payments infrastructure for European businesses. With strong product-market fit and recent funding, the company is scaling its engineering organisation and needs a proven technology leader to take it through the next stage.

Responsibilities
- Set and own the technology strategy and engineering roadmap
- Scale the engineering organisation from 60 to 200 across London and Berlin
- Build the hiring engine, technical standards, and team structure for scale
- Partner with the founders, board, and product leadership on company strategy
- Represent the company technically to investors, partners, and the market
Requirements
- Proven experience scaling an engineering organisation from 50 to 250 or more
- Track record as a CTO or VP Engineering at a high-growth technology company
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and platform architecture
- Strong record of building and retaining senior engineering talent
- Experience partnering with boards and investors at a strategic level
